If you have a passion for helping others in remote, under-served locations, you may consider volunteering for one of Larksview Foundation’s medical mission teams. The trips can be very rewarding.  But clinic days are long and at times are mentally and physically challenging. Accommodations during clinic are minimal. We often sleep in tents and eat locally prepared food. There is no Wi-Fi and cell connectivity is mostly hit or miss. But after clinic week, conditions improve greatly. We usually take some time to relax and decompress at one of the country’s tourist spots with all the amenities.
