We have provided equipment including an ultrasound machine to clinicians working in the Upendu wa Mungo Dispensary, Rukwa Valley, Tanzania.  As a result, this facility is the only one providing ultrasound as a diagnostic tool, and the only center providing ultrasounds to pregnant women prior to delivery for a 80-kilometer radius. In addition, we have provided a laptop computer, printer, stethoscopes, otoscopes, nebulizer machines, and are poised to provide AED devices with appropriate training to several regional hospitals there.  These four devices are likely to be part of just a small number available in Tanzania.
